Hi every one now a days the usage of mobile messaging apps have terribly increased all over the world. And also they are making many sensations.Here is the list of of top five mobile messaging apps. And this list is not based on number of users it have but it is purely based on the application features. And from our usage we felt that this are the best apps for mobile messaging.








           Whatsapp is the top instant messaging app for smart phones and some other feature phones with more than 600 million users and was founded in 2009 .Whatsapp is recently owned by Facebook for $19 billions. The founders of Whatsapp are Brian Acton and Jan Koum and both of them are former employees of Yahoo. Jan Koum is the CEO of Whatsapp. This company has total 55 employs. iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Windows, Symbian are the Operating systems which support Whatsapp. It is available in Multilingual.

2. Viber

         Viber is developed by viber media and it is instant messaging and voice over IP app for smart phones and it is Las Vegas and Cyprus registered company. Viber was founded by four Israeli partners and they are Talmon Marco, Igor Megzinik, Sani Maroli, Ofer Smocha. And Talmon Marco is the CEO of Viber.Viber has 100 monthly active users from its 280 million registered users. It was initially launched only for iPhone in December 2010. Viber can be used on both PC and mobiles. In order to use it on mobiles it needs to be registered first on mobile. It supports Mac OS, Android, BlackberryOS, iOS, Series 40, Symbian, Bada, Windows phone & Microsoft Windows.


         Hike is an Indian propitiatory instant messaging service for the smart phones. The special feature of Hike is that using this we can also send offline message and we get paid by inviting our friends and letting them join Hike. It also has a feature called nudge used to ping the receiver and it has chat themes. It also supports Microsoft files and also allows users to do hide a individual chat with a password. Hike was launched in December 2012.  Hike supports iOS, Android, Windows phone, Blackberry OS, Symbian. It is available in multilingual.

4. Kik

        Kik is the first smart phone messenger with build-in-browser. It is modeled after Blackberry's Messenger. It was founded in 2009. This messenger is the work of students from University of Waterloo. This application is available in 13 languages. It supports in iOS, Android and Windows Phone.

5. Line



        Line is an Japanese propitiatory application for smart phones and mobiles. It was started in the year March 2012.Line became Japanese largest social network in October 2013. This application is available in 14 languages. Line supports in iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Nokia Asha series, Firefox OS.
